At this event, Judith Jack Halberstam will review some recent trends in queer art & performance. Considering queer conceptions of the body, queer modes of abstraction & queer world making gestures, this short tour will constitute an adventure into queer art.

Judith Jack Halberstam is Professor of English and Director of The Center for Feminist Research at USC. Halberstam teaches courses in queer studies, gender theory, art, literature and film.
Halberstam is the author of
